Hartham Press are very pleased to advise you that we have now completed the acquisition and integration of 4Print Design Studio into the Hartham Press Group of Companies. 4Print are a renowned typesetting studio and imagesetting bureau. For the very first time in many years Hartham Press Limited is now able to produce in-house all of your origination requirements using our own typesetting and scanning equipment. The quality of our scanning, we believe, is second to none, producing images up to an outstanding 3700 dpi in either full colour or black and white. Incorporating the resultant scans into base artwork we are then able to produce for you either ink jet or digital postscript proofs, as you require, safe in the knowledge that what you see it what you get. 4Print Design Studio also specialises in the processing of PC windows based data files and Macintosh files into colour separated printer's films.

The installation of a SRA3 full colour digital printing machine. The machine is connected to our origination network via a Fiery rip and can automatically produce either single-sided or double-sided images in full colour or as black and white prints either directly from artwork created by ourselves or from your supplied discs. Being able to introduce variable data to each printed copy we can then personalise your direct mail campaign either as an 'overprint' or as part of the actual digital printing process where the variable data is printed as part of the main image. Variable data can be applied to both sides of the sheet. Equally, the machine can faithfully reproduce your printed copy supplied as artwork.

To complement the system we have also installed a Novajet wide format ink jet printer. This printer is capable of reproducing either artwork created within Hartham Press Limited or your own supplied originals/files. We can print onto various substrates: paper, vinyl, either glass clear, opaque, or even self-adhesive material. The resultant prints can, if you require, then be mounted onto foamex display boards or laminated for longer life. The maximum size print we can produce is a whopping 915mm x 27.4 metres!
