Our client is the stand-alone healthcare advertising division within a top ten global communications organisation. Their forte is as the premier creator of world class healthcare brands, and their client list is a roll-call of blue chip pharma (RX and OTC) multi-nationals. Their European office was established to service global clients headquartered in Europe, and it serves as a global hub, complimenting the US operation.
Burgeoning business within Europe has created the need to increase the London-based operation, particularly by recruiting first-class account handlers at all levels.

The Job
|
|
The essence of the roles, at all levels, is creative and inspired interaction, primarily with Europe-based pharma multi-nationals, and acting as the interface between the client and the agency's creative services. The roles would also involve liaison with colleagues in the US.
Additionally, promoting the agency's services, and general business development would be part of the remit.

Candidate Requirements
|
|
Preferably a life sciences background, and a commercial apprenticeship within the pharma industry, within the UK or other major European markets.
Good training in the basic disciplines of advertising, followed by a high-profile track record in account handling, where quality is of greater importance than the duration of experience.
The emphasis is on global branding, rather than local advertising campaigns, and therefore an appropriately good international perspective is of paramount importance.
