Our client is a world-leading, research driven, Top-10 Ethical Pharmaceutical company. Their current late stage pipeline is heralded as one of the most promising in the industry and strategically focuses on areas of unmet medical need.
Due to the expected launch of a novel medicine within the Immunology portfolio (RA), exciting opportunities exist for Medical Science Managers. These positions are field based in Scotland, reporting into the UK Medical Department.

The Job
|
The primary responsibilities of this role are to deliver scientific information in response to customer requests both for marketed and pipeline products, while building strong relationships with clinicians and other healthcare professionals through activities such as advisory panels, congresses and responding to requests for information.

Candidate Requirements
|
• Experience working in a scientific and/or clinical research environment, in the pharmaceutical industry, or in a medical, hospital or healthcare environment • Experience translating scientific or clinical data into commodities of value to a corporate structure, preferably Immunology. • Demonstrated success in presenting scientific and/or clinical data to research or healthcare professionals. • Demonstrated success in influencing others through scientific dialogue. • Successfully developed peer-to-peer relationships with top-ranking medics, scientists or other healthcare professionals. • A proven track record of in-depth and sustained interest in a scientific or clinical area. • Successful candidates will hold a Pharmacy degree or a PhD. • Knowledge of clinical trial design and process or knowledge of the National Healthcare System and the pharmaceutical industry in the UK. • Ability to work autonomously and in a self-directed manner in a field based role.
