Background
Our client is a manufacturer and distributor of biomedical testing instrument systems, and general biomedical research products that simplify and automate laboratory processes. In their Galway facility, a vacancy now exists in the Technical Operations (Engineering) Department for a Senior Engineer.
The Job
You will provide technical equipment support to the in-vitro Diagnostic Reagent Manufacturing business involved in the manufacture and distribution of a wide range of diagnostic reagents.
Candidate Requirements
* Extensive experience in selection/validation of filling, packaging and labelling technology and equipment * strong knowledge of PC based software, including SPC * Project managemeent experience is desirable * Experience in product handling solutions is essential * 3rd level qualification in an Engineering/Science discipline * Good knowledge of GMP, ISO and FDA regulatory requirements * A proven track record of experience in diagnostic reagent/healthcare or other relevant industry.
