The role of Therapy Area Specialist is an exciting role in the Medical Affairs Department. This unique opportunity offers a great stepping stone for a clinical, information or regulatory specialist looking to apply their talents in a more commercially focused role. Working in a cross-functional environment this role is integral to the delivery of a range of key brand and business objectives.

The Job
|
As a Therapy Area Specialist, you will become the recognised source of in-depth technical knowledge for that Brand for both internal and external clients. You will be responsible for the identification, preparation and maintenance of Brand core claims and their incorporation into promotional offerings. Working in liaison with the Global and UK MC partners you will help to ensure that the future requirements of the UK business market place are met. In addition you will provide specialist in-depth brand information for complex & technical client enquiries and tailored technical offerings to support Sales and Marketing success (including involvement in external customer commercial interactions such as Advisory Boards, PCO formulary presentations).

Candidate Requirements
|
• Life Sciences degree or Medical degree • Strong scientific background essential • Oncology background preferred • Significant experience in the pharmaceutical industry • Proven ability to interact with external customers • Working knowledge and application of the ABPI Code of Practice
