The Job
The Executive Director GI will – working at both global strategic andoperational levels – take on scientific/medical leadership of the company's gastro-intestinal product development that will focus on existing, and identification of new, drug candidates. Through skilful leadership this will involve offering input into global product acquisition and development & commercialisation strategies, as well as responsibility for trial implementation.
Candidate Requirements
Candidates sought will be medically qualified and will possess strong scientific/medical expertise in the gastro-intestinal therapeutic arena – supported by a publications record in this field – combined with associated clinical research experience. Personal attributes should include demonstrable leadership and relationship-building qualities combined with business acumen. The position commands an attractive remuneration package with the possibility of benefiting from considerable tax concessions during the first 3 years working in Denmark. On merit, there will be scope and potential for the successful candidate to progress his/her career into a global therapeutic area head or similar level position.
