Welcome to Welwyn Garden City Bridge ClubDuplicate Bridge for All From Newcomers to Grand Masters**** Bridge Teaching Course ****
John Pain, who is in charge of the EBU teaching and Education programme, is to visit Hertfordshire on Friday 19th September to give a free instruction session on the art of teaching bridge. This will be in the form of a workshop aimed at new and inexperienced teachers. It will provide tips on what works and what doesn't work, as well as including details of the various materials and help that can be given by the EBU.

**** New Handbooks ****
These are now available at the club. Please make sure that you dispose of the old ones correctly by shredding them or by dropping them off in the box at the club so that they can be destroyed.
**** New Pupils ****
Lessons with Barbara Kime begin in September and she would appreciate any efforts you can make to try and increase her numbers. If you have a local library there are flyers available which can be posted on their noticeboards, so please help if you can.
There are events on most weekday evenings and on some mornings. Visitors are welcome at all our regular events however Trophy events are for Members only. During Autumn and Spring Terms afternoon and evening Bridge Classes are run for Beginners, Novices and Improvers. There is also a weekly Workshop for all to improve their Bridge.
