Hertford Tennis Club welcomes you to our clubhouse and courts set on leafy Hartham Common on the northern side of historic Hertford. We offer team tennis, social play, tournaments and coaching. The Club is open to all to enjoy tennis and improve their game, from complete beginners to aspiring champions.

2013 SEASON
Courts : We have six excellent courts, all floodlit. All courts are now deemed to be of equal standard and no formal preference will be acorded for court bookings. Our court allocation sheet has been amended accordingly. Details of court allocations for each day of the week are shown elsewhere on the website.
Clubhouse: The clubhouse refurbishment has now been completed. The communal area is now larger and lighter, with windows to the rear to allow people to look out across the back courts. Member feedback has been positive and a number of people have put forward ideas for social events in the enlarged space. Watch the website for details.
Website: We are currently updating our website. Potential new members are welcome to browse the current pages and to use our enquiry form should you require any further information. For current members, there is now a members' section of the website which requires password access. This contains information relevant to members including minutes of meetings. Password details are displayed on the noticeboard in the clubhouse. Membership fees 2013 - 2014:
Membership fees are now due for the 2013/2014 season. Details of fees for all classes of membership can be found on the 'Join the Club' section of the website. New members can join at any time throughout the year - costs will be pro-rated depending on the month of joining.
COACHING CLASSES
Ian and his team run coaching for adults and juniors. Individual coaching is available, as is group coaching. Juniors have various coaching programmes running throughout the year and adults are encouraged to come along to one of the evening group sessions, depending on thier ability. OTHER NEWS
Open Day: HLTC are to hold an Open Day on Saturday 29th June. If you are interested in joining HLTC, then you are welcome to come along - just turn up. Members are encouraged to assist with the day. Club Championships 2013:
A sign-up sheet is on the wall for all annual Club Championship events including a new vets section for over 55 ladies and over 60s for men. Finals day is scheduled for Saturday 13 July with Sunday the 14th as a contingency day.
Wimbledon tickets:
The sheet for entering your name into the Wimbledon ballot is on the clubhouse notice board. The draw will be made on 10th May. To be eligible you must be over the age of 8, have renewed your membership, and be registered on ther LTA website as being affiliated to Hertford Tennis Club - all of which are LTA rules.
